Shrimp Hatchery Association of Bangladesh (SHAB) has championed Bangladesh’s shrimp seed sector since 2000. Registered under the Ministry of Commerce and proudly affiliated with FBCCI, we unite hatchery owners, scientists, and policymakers around one goal: world-class, sustainable shrimp hatchery operations that power coastal livelihoods and export growth.

Aligned 30+ hatcheries with Global Good Aquaculture Practices (GAqP)
Rolled out SPF broodstock program—cutting PL disease by 40% (2019–24)
Signed active MoUs with Bangladesh Agricultural University, WorldFish, and FAO
Facilitated BDT 500 million in low-interest loans for hatchery upgrades
Led Bangladesh’s first shrimp-seed roadshow across GCC & EU markets (2023)
